Remote Education Provision

At Feltham Hill Infant and Nursery School, we recognise the importance of helping children continue their learning when they are unable to attend school but are well enough to learn. Where appropriate, remote education will be provided during a school closure or when a child cannot attend for an agreed reason.

Our approach reflects the age and needs of our children. Activities may include reading and phonics, writing, mathematics and practical learning, with guidance to help parents and carers support their child at home. We encourage a balance of learning, play, physical activity and time away from screens.

We understand that families have different circumstances and access to technology. Please contact the school office if you need help accessing learning or require resources in an alternative format. For children with SEND, staff will work with families to consider suitable adaptations and support.

Remote education supports continuity of learning and does not replace attendance when children are well enough and able to attend school.
