→Inter-Class Sport Competitions
Following the footsteps of Year 1, the Year 2 classes have been competing against each other in inter class sport competitions.
As part of a team they undertake a series of races, which challenge skills such as balance, speed, ball control and throwing.
Through competition the children are learning to-
- listen carefully to instructions
- take part as a team member
- encourage others
- persevere
- cope with losing and winning
- play fairly
The children have shown a strong desire to win but equally they are being very good sports by encouraging each other when things go wrong and coping well when they don't win.
One more week of competition until we find our Year 2 winners!
