Year 2 had a wonderful Art Engage Day, where we explored shapes, forms, colours, patterns and textures found in the world around us. The children enjoyed a range of creative activities that encouraged them to experiment with different materials and techniques. Using clay and a variety of tools, the children carefully created their own clay flowers, thinking about shape and form as they sculpted their designs. They also experimented with texture in clay, using tools to create sharp and spiky patterns on the surface.
