KS1 Achievement Afternoon

Celebrating Learning Together

This week, we were delighted to welcome parents into Key Stage 1 for our Achievement Afternoon — a special opportunity for children to share their learning and celebrate their progress.

There was a wonderful atmosphere across Year 1 and Year 2 classrooms, with children proudly showing their books, explaining their learning and talking confidently about the progress they have made.

Our pupils demonstrated growing independence as they talked through their work, explained their strategies and reflected on how they have improved. It was particularly special to see children articulating what they are learning and why — a key part of developing confident, reflective learners.

Thank you to all the parents and carers who attended and supported the afternoon. Sharing these moments strengthens the important partnership between school and home and reinforces how proud we are of every child’s achievements.

We look forward to welcoming families into school again soon to celebrate more learning together.
