As part of Road Safety Week this week, we are holding a ‘Beep Beep!’ day on Wednesday 22^nd of November.

Children in Year 1 and 2 will attend a special assembly and Foundation stage children will learn about road safety in their classes and through outdoor activities.

Please do talk to your children about how to be safe when near or crossing roads.

Also can we draw your attention to recent safety concerns about children wearing winter coats whilst strapped into car seats. 

We were shocked to hear that this may be dangerous, as bulky coats mean that straps may not be tight enough to hold children securely in the event of a crash.
