Meet our Governors

Martin Roberts — Chair of Governing Body

I have been a co-opted Governor since 2014.  I am a widower with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I retired after a career in the civil service, in the financial services sector, and latterly as a non-executive director in the NHS.

After I retired I wanted to undertake a voluntary role in which I could make use of my experience of committee work in a number of different organisations. I am delighted to do so in FHIN which is a real centre of excellence with extremely capable and inspirational staff, and with happy and well-motivated children.

Elona Bicaj

As a recently elected parent governor, with one child happily settled into Feltham Hill and another one at the Nursery, I am passionate about the success of the school in all its aspects. I have Political Science and government/law background and currently work in finance/bookkeeping. I believe strongly in the importance of education and I am delighted to have the opportunity to utilise my skills and experience and as a parent to support the staff and children at Feltham Hill Infant and Nursery school.

James Robertson

I have been a Governor since Oct 2018. Two of my boys have successfully progressed through FHIN and I have always been impressed with the teaching methods deployed at Feltham Hill.  I recently gave up my 28 year career in logistics to challenge myself in new and exciting ways. I currently attend St Mary’s University in Twickenham where I am training to be a primary school teacher. My studies compliment the Governor role and visa versa. My passion and commitment to the education system will drive me to deliver the best results for both children and staff at FHIN.
