Profile: I have been a co-opted Governor since 2014. I am a widower with 2 children and 2 grandchildren. I retired after a career in the civil service, in the financial services sector, and latterly as a non-executive director in the NHS. After I retired I wanted to undertake a voluntary role in which I could make use of my experience of committee work in a number of different organisations. I am delighted to do so in FHIN which is a real centre of excellence with extremely capable and inspirational staff, and with happy and well-motivated children. |

Profile: I joined the Governing Body as a Co-opted Governor in March 2018. Previously I had worked in the school for 22 years, first in the school office and then as a Teaching Assistant in KS1. Working alongside children in the early stages of their education was such a privilege. After I retired I became a volunteer in the school and now spend one morning a week in KS1. Being a Governor allows me to give something back to the school community and alongside all members of the Governing Body we want to see the school continue to grow and sustain the success it has strived so hard to achieve. |

I am very proud to be the staff governor on the governing body. I have taught at Feltham Hill for over 30 years and now have the pleasure of knowing 3 generations of some families. It is a real privilege and joy to work with young children knowing that I play an important role in their learning and development. As a member of the governing body, I bring my experience of being both a class teacher and senior leader in our outstanding school as well as having a good working knowledge of our children and their families. I am committed to ensuring that the school continues to maintain high standards in all areas, enabling our children to learn through real experiences, enjoy learning, and achieve to the best of their ability. |

Profile: I have been a Governor since Oct 2018. Two of my boys have successfully progressed through FHIN and I have always been impressed with the teaching methods deployed at Feltham Hill. I recently gave up my 28 year career in logistics to challenge myself in new and exciting ways. I currently attend St Mary’s University in Twickenham where I am training to be a primary school teacher. My studies compliment the Governor role and visa versa. My passion and commitment to the education system will drive me to deliver the best results for both children and staff at FHIN. |
