Last week the children took part in a dance workshop. They used their bodies to make different shapes and told a story with music.
Thashwin - Penguin Class
'We done some dancing with our bodies to the crocodile song, the lady helped us. I was in group 1 and we had to be palm trees. I looked like a tree by putting my arms and hands in the air. I also stood really straight. I had a lot of fun.'
Yang - Starfish Class
'We had to dance to the crocodile song. The crocodile was bad and wanted to eat the children but the animals wouldn't let him. We had to be the animals. I was in group 3 and had to pretend to be a rabbit on a carousel. To look like a rabbit I put my hand up by my head so I looked like I had long ears.'
