Mayoral Visit

We were visited by The Worshipful The Mayor of the London Borough of Hounslow, Councillor Nisar Malik, on Tuesday 20th October.

The Mayor visited our classes in the Early Years and Key Stage 1.

He spoke to children about Democracy by having class votes, asking the children to nominate others and the person with the highest vote wins.

He taught the children that it is important to respect the majority of the people’s vote.

Mr. Mayor also visited some of our other learning areas, such the Year 1 outside learning area.

This was a picture taken in the Early Years outside learning area.

Our Nursery children were really lucky to see Mr.Mayor drawing a picture for them!

This picture was taken during Key Stage 1 assembly- everybody wanted to shake Mr.Mayor's hand!

Some of the children had made Mr.Mayor a delicious chocolate buttercream cake of which he and everybody who got to try some, really enjoy!

Mr. Mayor was very pleased with his visit to our school. The children were extremely polite and helpful so he has invited the children to visit him at his office!
