Borough Sports 2016

London Borough of Hounslow Primary Sport's Day

We had the highlight of the school's sporting calendar- Borough Sports!

The school chooses 10 pupils- 5 boys and 5 girls to take part and compete as a team in several multi-skills races.  They were also encouraged to be good sports by cheering their and others teams on.

This was an exciting day which is organised by a school sports company called Sport Impact and it took place at the Brentford Fountain Leisure Centre.

Here is some feedback from some who attended this event:

'Yesterday we went to Hounslow Borough Sports. We went by coach with lots of other schools in Feltham. In Borough Sports there were 47 schools. Our first race was the bean bag relay. We came third. We almost won the running relay race because we were running so fast! In the hurdle race we came first- we were SO excited.

We met new friends who were sitting in front of us and we saw friends we already knew. When we didn’t get chosen for the finals we cheered on our friends'.
