Sculpturing in Year 2
Darcy Turner-Sculpture Artist
Coming back to school from the Christmas break , the Year 2 children were visited by a Sculpture Artist, Darcy Turner. Darcy has previously held sculpture workshops at our school and will be visiting us again later in the year.
Children followed a process of making solid sticks out of newspaper sheets using various tools and equipment and then putting them all together to make one giant sculpture- a boat.
Below are photos of the workshop and the amazing finished product.
