We all dressed up as our favourite superhero. The children designed their own superhero mask and read lots of amazing superhero books.  They discussed the qualities superheroes need to have to be great at their job.

In the big hall the children posed as different superheroes and took on a superhero obstacle course. Using a parachute, Year 1 children threw in superhero qualities like invisibility and having courage to invent a mega superhero.

We discussed the importance of being brave and helping others in danger. The children shared how police, emergency services and people they know were heroic and brave. Wow, what a spectacular day!
