The children spent the day visiting different year 2 classrooms learning facts about significant people in history. They were able to:

• sketch with Vincent Van Gogh
• learn Tudor dancing with Henry VIII
• march and protest for women’s rights with Emmeline Pankhurst
• excavate fossils with Mary Anning

The children had a fantastic time learning about why each person was significant.
